• Each assessment is tailored for the individual's presenting needs and the questions you have. We can assess any combination of the following areas: cognition, memory, academics, literacy, language, speech, fine and gross motor, mental health, and more.

• We can complete standard psychoeducational assessments lead by our psychologists, but many of our clinic-based assessments are inter-disciplinary in nature and may expand beyond this based on client need. 

• While a diagnosis is not always the goal of every assessment, common diagnoses that we may explore include: Intellectual Developmental Disorder, Specific Learning Disorders (inclusive of dyslexia, dysgraphia, dysclaclia), Autism, ADHD, Developmental Coordinator Disorder, Developmental Language Disorder, Speech Sound Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders.  

There is no age limit on assessment offerings, however, age is one factor that will impact what type of assessment we plan and what questions we can answer. We can review all of this together in a discovery call to determine what an assessment can look like for you or your child.

• Yes. We have team members across clinical backgrounds with training in Autism assessment, including specialized training in autism-specific measures such as the ADOS-2 and ADI-R. Each autism assessment is still tailored for the individual, and autism may be one of many questions we seek to answer during the assessment. 

• We are able to explore mental health needs within our assessments and are be able to make some diagnoses related to mental health, such as mood disorders. For more complex mental health presentations, we will typically refer to or collaborate with your Psychiatrist. We are happy to discuss whether or not our team is the right fit for the questions you have.

• For current clients, we will try to design intervention blocks that meet your specific needs.

• For new clients, we will first schedule an initial needs assessment so we can plan together about what to focus on. We may ask to review previous reports if you have them available. 

• Common areas of focus may include: Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Literacy, Interoception, Psychoeducation (not an exhaustive list)
